Terms of service
This English text is provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the controlling original. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Definitions

“Site”: VVdocking (https://vvdocking.com/) and related domains.

“Content”: Video and other digital assets provided by us.

“User”: Any individual or entity using the Site.

“Final Output”: A work created by the User using the Content after editing/processing/combining such that the original Content cannot be extracted (e.g., edited footage, rendered video).

“Client”: A third party to whom the User delivers Final Output as part of a project.
2. License Grant
We grant the User a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, and non‑sublicensable license to use the Content purchased or downloaded from the Site. Where consideration is required, the license is granted upon completion of payment. Delivering Final Output to a Client under Section 3.2 is permitted and does not constitute a sublicense of the Content.
3. Permitted Uses
3.1 Purpose. The User may modify, edit, combine, and reproduce the Content for commercial or non‑commercial purposes and use it as Final Output. Final Output may be publicly displayed, communicated, broadcast/streamed, or distributed on websites, social media, TV/OTT, advertising, events, and similar media.
3.2 Client Work. The User may deliver Final Output to a Client. However, the Content itself (the raw asset) must not be provided in a form that allows extraction or reuse. If the Client needs the raw asset for further editing, the Client must obtain a separate license.
3.3 Internal Use. Use on multiple devices by the same User is allowed. Concurrent multi‑user use under a single license is not allowed (seat‑based licensing is required if you need multiple users).
4. Prohibited Uses
The following uses are prohibited, whether for commercial or non‑commercial purposes:

4.1 Redistribution of the Content itself: Providing the Content as‑is or in a substantially equivalent state as an independent transaction item by sale, rental, free distribution, lending, etc., or making it available for download (public transmission) in a way that allows third parties to obtain the raw asset.

4.2 Templates/Stock Packs: Providing the Content in templates, asset packs, stock libraries, or any form by which third parties can reuse the Content as a raw asset.

4.3 Unlawful/Improper Use: Using the Content in violation of laws or public policy, or in illegal, false, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate contexts; using identifiable persons in pornographic or defamatory contexts or as implied endorsers (“testimonials”).

4.4 Infringement: Using the Content in a manner that infringes, or is likely to infringe, intellectual property, trademark, portrait/privacy, or other rights of us or third parties.

4.5 Over‑sharing: Copying the Content to servers or shared drives such that multiple people can simultaneously use it beyond licensed seats via LAN/drive sharing.

**4.6 Use as training data for generative AI or similar machine‑learning datasets.
5. Downloads
Download counts are unlimited. Download links remain valid for 30 days from the purchase date.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities under your account. You may cancel your account at any time. Any unused prepaid credits are non‑refundable upon cancellation. Any outstanding payment obligations survive cancellation.
7. Pricing, Payment, and FX Fees
Prices are based on Japanese Yen and may be displayed in other currencies by conversion. Payment methods are those shown at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent that you are the authorized card/account holder and authorize us to charge the total amount. Any foreign exchange or card fees are your responsibility.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Content remain with us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership.
9. Refunds and Support
Due to the nature of digital items, refunds are not offered. For issues attributable to us (e.g., corrupted/missing files or mis‑delivery), we will replace or re‑deliver promptly.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Site and the Content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, special, consequential, or incidental damages, or lost profits.
If liability is found, our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply to damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Service Changes and Suspension
Except where required by law, we may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Site/services at any time without prior notice. We are only responsible within the scope of Section 10 for damages arising therefrom.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the Nara District Court as a non‑exclusive court of first instance, or to the court of the User’s domicile to the extent permitted by law.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms at our discretion. Unless otherwise specified, amendments become effective upon posting on the Site. If we make changes that materially disadvantage Users, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., posting on the Site or by email). Your continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
14. Language
These Terms are prepared in Japanese, which is the controlling language. This English version is a convenience translation. In case of discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
